I'm currently working on a new portrait bust (final portrait) and some other character work but thought it would be fun to really try and push my low poly technique. Which in the end I managed to make a fairly flexible character at around 865 triangles. It could be lower, if I removed some design choices but anything under 1000 is pretty good for a mobile game so this would work well in that kind of an environment.
This animation is from an earlier version, where the booty was different and the triangle count was a tad higher at 885 or so but I like the arm animation and I'm too lazy to make another mixamo recording lol
Anyway, thought someone might find this fun to watch. I'll hopefully get some time to make some custom animation and will make another update on this. If it ends up being half decent I'll look into making it available somewhere, probably for a game engine or something.
- Ah, I thought gifs could play on here but I guess not. I'll look into making an embedded video next time I update this character.
